Talking Zuloco's guide to staking - 09-20-2007, 01:30 PM

stakin is a very fun and profitable sport in the world of runescape, players can easily make 100s of millions an hour staking with the right stats and tactics. i will gho through the types of stakers i am most familiar with to start with.

Melee stakers

the best stakers stay around 65 def and have high attak an str, for example my current staker has 80 attack and 85 str with 65 def. However to start makin serious money i would suggest some where in the region of 80,90-95,60-65, with these levels you can hit 50s with a good ddp spec

strategies and setups- to stake with a melee character you will need a dragon dagger(the poison is not important as you can usually K0 the opponent befor the poison works,) also you will need a dragon scimitar/abby whip-i prefer whip as they have a higher speed than a scimmy which may be all important in those final seconds of a duel. however low budget players can use a d scimmy as the weapon stats are only slightly lower than a whip.

to kill others you will need to have your dagger equipped with the special attack already selected, this saves time in the arena. empty your spec on the opponent and whip out your scim/whip, you will have red barred them if you have high strength and will only need 1-2 good hits with a whip to finish them off.

always stake with armour off, no food, no drinks, no pryer and no movement, no range , mage or forfeit and NEVER have obstacles on with range/mage as you will be entangled and owned. this prevents noobs from pulling out full veracs/torags and ownig you with high def, also with mage/range off you stop noobs from bursting or barraging you to death.

BOXERS

a boxer typically has high def and attak with mediocre strenght. a good boxer capable of making millions would have stats like this 90 attack,70 str,95-99 def
the strenght does not matter as you will never be hit by anyone with 95-99 def =), always use punch, never kick as kick is far less acurate than punch.

boxers should stake with the above rules but with the weapon slot turned off.

these are the two types of staker i use and they own. i will write kmore about mage an range stakers when i actuali make 1.

+rep if u liked =) an yes i made this entirely from scratch =)
