As the title says, I recommend enabling CAPTCHA or a similar form of protection/prevention against spam bots, mass account flooding, etc.
Currently we have no form of protection against bots for registration.. I hope you read this before you have to start pruning 5000 accounts with offensive names..  ~  Server Moderator ~Here to help... |

Oh, but we do. Activation of an account requires a unique, valid e-mail address. As well as the person clicking a link sent to the via that e-mail.

Ahh, forgot about that Trikster, but it still wouldn't hurt to enable it
 But with activation required a person could still create hundreds of accounts, they just couldn't post with them... ~ Server Moderator ~Here to help... |

I don't even think an un-activated account can log on. So, the use of spam bots will not really hurt the forum.
