Recently, I have talked to #21 about having a shoutbox. I haven't fully convinced him, but he's asked me to post a thread about pros and cons about a shoutbox.
Pros: 1. Easy way to communicate. 2. If you need someone's attention, you can contact them in the shoutbox. 3. Give trik.com only links to other people, for their attention. 4. Don't have to add people on msn. 5. More forum online activity. Cons: 1. May decrease forum posting activity. 2. Maybe a 25-25 post limit to see the shoutbox. 3. Exploitable. --- If we can maintain perfect forum activity and a shoutbox, then we'll add one. If we add one, and there is no forum posting activity, we'll remove it. Simple. |

well, weve been ddos'ed countless times because of the shoutbox, but the 25 post rule is good.

Also, might I suggest a person specifically to mod the shoutbox? I know that usually all mods and staff can mod the shoutbox, but there should be someone specifically set to mod it |
