[Enemy]

As most of you know Runescape has rapidly become one of the biggest MMO games out there today, along with the huge game World of Warcraft.
Now both of these games have been out for quite a while now. Starting at relatively the same time, with WoW releasing about 3 years after Runescape.
Runescape is the holder of the world record for most popular free online game while World of Warcraft is the holder of the worlds most popular MMO.
Both games have their strong and weak suites.

Runescape is really great because you can be anything you want to, there is total freedom. You can be a magician one day and a warrior the next. It has updates every few weeks and has lots of skills to keep its players busy.
Where Runescape lacks is in the terms of graphics (even though they have gotten substancially better since the games release) and with player to player interaction.

World of Warcraft is great because it had a very in depth story line, with stunning graphics and lots of player to player interaction. There is an endless amount of classes and races with skills to go with it.
Where WoW lacks is in the endless hours it takes to level and skill. The cost of the game is also quite a bit more than a Runescape membership.

So which do you think is better?

I personally like rs better (browser based is super easy access) but then again I have never really played wow.

I would have thought Runescape would be the preferred game since this is still really a Runescape forum. Haha.
I would still play Runescape if it worked on my computer.

i also have vista... you can play runescape with vista...

WoW is better gameplay, but you can sell/trade easier on runescape i think

Agreed, but i like RS because no 3 hour long downloads (thats how long it took my friend) and you dont have to worry about the HUGE updates wow has.

I prefer RuneScape because it's cheaper and there's no downloads. The only reason RuneScape somewhat lacks in graphics is because it's browser based. If you could download RuneScape I think the graphics would be 10x better, but it would be more costly, and maybe easier to cheat/hack.

I personally like Runescape better because I have tried WoW and it is very boring.
