I'm a woodcutter on RuneScape. I've always liked woodcutting the most and have always used it for money. As a woodcutter I feel obligated to have the best woodcutting axe. So I was wondering if the Dragon Axe is worth the money. If anybody knows roughly how many more yew logs a Dragon Axe gets you an hour vs. a rune axe at 80 woodcutting please tell me.

It used to be the same as a rune axe, just better melee stats, but I do believe it is significantly faster than rune now.

I personally have never woodcutted [Or skilled for money] but if you wc a lot then I'd suggest getting one.

You get roughly 3640 exp more per hour cutting willows with a dragon axe.

my favorite non combat stat is woodcutting also and before when they were 5m i just bought them for 5m than cut logs for the day than sold it after i was done cutting for 5m.

when they were 3m i used to merch them.

my suggestion is buy one... its only 2m......

there is really no accurate exp per hour for yews and magic only for willows.

like once it took me 10 min for 1 load of yews(with no one around) and another time it took me 15 and 5 min.

but i suggest if you dont really wanna waste your money to buy it than do what i did which was buy it than cut than sell.....

i use a dragon axe.

cuts faster, has a spec attack to kill tree spirits, and it looks flashy 0.0

rune axes=ftl

I've woodcutted with a Dragon Axe from 65-88 Woodcutting. I also tested rune axe, and to me, Dragon Axe is noticeably faster than rune.

Imo, Dragon axe is a good investment.

how thow I pay like 1.5mill for a few 3k xp I mean wow... If you have the money hell yeah get it but if you don whats the point?

k get dragon wc axe if u have high wc and want to get faster xp
get rune axe if u are poor, and want to make money the cheaper way
I would go for dragon wc tho faster xp+faster money.
