On October 10th 2007, Jagex did a few things that completely destroyed runescape. They tried to eliminate Real world trading by making a "Balanced Trade" by that i mean you cannot have a 3k differnce in the items you sell. They also RUINED pking by adding a minigame.

Yeah. Quit being babies. JaGex got rid of player killing. Big deal. Move on. Player killing isn't even the main point of the game. If you used player killing to make money, try getting your skills up like your supposed to. And the balanced trade is a good thing. Buying gold is for newbs and it ruins the economy. And there is still ways to real world trade noobs.
So shut up and move on.
By the way, this thread is about five or six months too late.

The economy was already unstable LOL i remember p hats ruled the trade and the lowers levels did not know how to set prices. Remember the higher levels have the cash but the lower levels make the goods lol

okay yes this is correct G.E is probably THE single best update this game ever had. i played numerous accounts, such as"im 4 allison,masonw1992, and pilsbury0" ALL from scratch. I began playing this game in 2003 back in the old RS classic days... those we're the best days. yes PKing was beautiful.. made my fair share of mills from that, but honestly Jagex isnt in for pleasing EVERYONE they love their faithful players and welcome all "new money" or all new players (our day today noobs.) They made this game "Noob-Friendly" which is great for the inexperienced players and the more experienced player know how to cope. we dont need to complain about something that happened years ago. Those "better" times are over and aren't coming back.
