in my opinion I think amd is a cheaper version of intel

u shoud make a new thread AMD or INTEL xD

some standard Dolby digital 5.1 (or something like that, not big on sound cards) surround sound card
eVGA Nvidia 8800GTS 320MB

thats pretty much the need to know sh!t. just bought this pc and with some other stuff a couple of moths ago.

That AMD for gaming shit is not true anymore. AMD used to dominate gaming a few years back. Today, intel is dominating the market, the core2duo is just that much better than the AM2.

Don't take me wrong, I'm a true AMD fan and have used them in all my computerprojects. Just hoping they get some competition on the market, as of now they are just a low-budget choice. You do get more power/$ though.

AMD FX series still beat intel in gaming but it is much more expensive. The reason I like AMD is it more fun to overclock.. I once do my 1.8 athlon run 2.6 on air cooling of course. maybe can get more with water cooling.

1: i have no need to over clock anymore
2: i think that Intel is better in general but AMD has 1 or 2 models that are supurb

i mean my Intel core 2 is amazing and i bet it beats 90% of AMD's, but i think that AMD is the cheapest but gives the most just like laxan said
