i didnt really know where to post this i thought this would be the best place...ok i need to open this data.pak file so i can edit something but i cant open it up every unpacking program i download has an error opening it...some please help out

shit i used to have the perfect program for .pak files too but i forgot what it was, seeing as i havent used it in years...

Here's a lots of ready skins (just check sites in links section for skins). If you have time and wish to make Helbreath look like YOU want to be - just get a PAK browsing tool , picture editor like PSP or Photoshop and :)

Hmm some people were having problems downloading PAK browser from the main mirror - therefore I'm providing direct links for PAK browser on other mirrors:

PAK browsing tool is really easy to use:

   1. Backup your PAK files you want to mess with
   2. Open HBPak
   3. Click on "Open PAK file" button
   4. Export picture you need into the BMP
   5. Edit it the way you like
   6. Then replace image in PAK with your own BMP file of the same size (it should have 256 colors - 8 bits) using HBPak

Note: color of leftmost-upper pixel will be transparent in the game"

yea fuud nice try but not what im looking for -.- i alrdy have a HB pak editor....i cant stress the "-.-" enough because that last little comment is rly getting to me "It's amazing what google can find you with a little common sense....
google helbreath .pak browser" when your totally wrong and got me the wrong thing...................i dont need a pak opener for HB....its for another game and its not a PAK with like the GFX in it......its a PAK that has TXT in it.......... -.-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow, to tell you guys the truth... .pak files are really... "packed" it's just a file extension used by teh koreens... it's more of an encryption device to hide teh .bmp's

so how i can "unpack" them into normal bmp? they are not hiding it i think because there are pak editor out there. I dont know yet to reverse something that not an executable LOL.

Enter, this first site is unavailable, the 2nd site is available but the words are of a foreign language to me.

Even went to Hbportal.net to find but somehow it was removed from the site.
