Well, i was thinking some day like, helbreath is veeery old game, but wth? so many people are playing it, kinda weard... but well, HB is good, because of the point in the game(EK's, 2 city's, Events, Collectin ball points, hunting urself good armors, helping nuub's 8-) ) but the graphics are bad, but that good lol, because then people with bad comps still can play it :wink:... kk this is getting off from the topic...
So anyway i was wondering how old HB realy is?

U may post ur opinions of HB, not the server, but HB

umm extremely old let me see....i started playing HB(the real server when it was free to play)when i was like around 8 or 9 yrs old and im 16 yrs old now....

I tried first time like 5 years ago I think, the first version of game was released in 1999 (korean only), english version released at 2003, at least my source said so

tryed it first at helbreathinternational was like 2002 i think.. lol lvl 100's hardly seen

i started playing HB back when it was a text based game so, yeah its been around for a long long time. and when they finally added graphics to it everyone was amazed and it became an instant sucess. whats even funnier is that USA is still going strong, with almost 300 ppl on a time, more or less. but the thing that truly amazes me is that private servers such as this attract a huge number of players.

i think korean version came out 99 and i was playing HB international in 2000... it went p2p in like 2001 or 2002 then i stoped... i remember 1st playing it when i was 16 tho...

Ive been playing hb since i was around 7 ( when hb usa was free) and im 15 now so it has more than 10 years and they r still making upgrades. In the hb usa they have recently changed some things like the appearance of some monsters.

haha usa was never free (unless u countin the 2 week promos)...i know this for a fact cuz international was free and then went p2p and usa came out...in 2003, january or late 2002

so its def not 10 years old...maybe 7-8

yeah i played USA when it was free but the day it went to p2p, of course i signed up for a few months but it just got anoying after figuring out that private servers had already begun to spring up, of course there wernt as many as today, seeing as less ppl had server files. but the evolution of HB is very impressive if you think about and take a long hard look and do some research. and to prove USA was free try going to google and typing in helbreath USA and find some info about it before just saying it was never free.

and HB is actually about 12-16 years old if you count the years it was a text based rpg, with an open chat and thats how the dice dmg was born in HB, ppl used to roll 4 numbers to determine dmg. thats a bit of useless info but anyway HB is much older then most ppl believe. =]
