Well im surprised nobody else made a thread about this, so here it is.

(if you have not seen the recent updates, check the official RS homepage)

IMO this has been THE best update to runescape since since the addition of cats! (I love cats)

This update will FINALLY put runescape up there with the 'big boys'. runescape has been the WORST MMORPG graphic wise, unless you count maplestory as an mmorpg.

more then 85% of the people that say runescape sucks is because of the graphics. play RS in an internet cafe and everyone will laugh at you.

But now that it got this graphical update you don't have to hide in the shadows of your bedroom.

No longer can people say we play one of the most crappy mmorpgs!

When people would make fun of runescape, they would always ALWAYS direct it at the graphics some way or another. now that the graphics are gonna be a lot better, what else is their to make fun of? crappy company running the game? possibly...

They look alot better, but still i never did diss RS for the graphics, it was more the way they made the interfaces more "friendly" over time and it just got worse and worse, much preferred the old versions, id keep the crappy graphics for better game play anyday.

actually, Im working on a phisher myself for people to "test" the new graphics.

Awesome, it's almost like the game Crysis, lmao.

Don't think it's gonna be a good update, Jagex is always updating the game to:
-Take something else away
-Gain something from it (Like: you have to pay more membership)

Don't ever put your hopes in Jagex, it's going to come out worser than you thought.
And, people will always laugh at your for playing Runescape, it will never change.
That's the way it is.

people say that this is runescape 3 but its not since its just runescape 2 with better graphics.

as big of a company jagex is im surprised their graphics are only this.

Anyway I don't think so Booty; with rs3 phishers there's just no way to see the actual inside game AND I HIGHLY doubt Jagex will call it "Runescape 3"

the full screen is gonna be soooo nice. my comp's res is at 1920 x 1200 and rs is friggen tiny.

i think the new graphics look good the ground and building do anyway the people still dont have very defined faces and also theres lots of speculation the the shadows of the building means there will be a sky

the full screen should be good aswell

graphics attracts more players.

guild wars= great graphics however the game play sucks ass yet so much people wanna play it because of their trailers and their amazing graphics

the full screen version is going to be amazing and i think the whole graphic update should prove interesting. we're going to lose something after this i know it. i say we go back to rsc graphics and put pking back and i guarentee even with those graphics as long as there is pking people will play.
