From what ive seen a lot of mages complain about amp warriors. I myself am a warrior and suggest the following.

AMP int req raised to 300 or 400

As a warrior if amp int req is raised (dont use it but a lot do)

Shield str req raised
OR
mage dmg lowered SLIGHTLY not by a lot but maybe so that it takes 1 direct cast and 1 indirect cast kills (non pfmed) rather than 1 direct cast kill.

Every mage has cancel so AMP shouldn't be a problem, the only reason it is is because a mage dies from 3-4 crits from kaxe/deva while trying to cast cancel a few times.

thats a dumb idea. people make amp wars for a reason. to amp. and mages use sheilds to protect their selfs. mages would overpower wars if they didnt have amp or pfm

Peace is just two fingers now
Peace was just a phase

So take those fingers tape 'em up and shove 'em up your ass and carry on but don't try it now cause peace is gone - stone sour

when ever someone talks about 'mages' in here as a whole they are only thinking about a few people who are very strong and not mages as a whole becasue not every mage has spend 2k points on a pa set and has zwand too

newb warriors can compete with strong mages even oxy hammer can land a few strong hits where as a newb mage cannot compete with any warrior at all

provided 5hits both of course

pardon the noob here, but i've been wondering how best to avoid spell dmg. how do u avoid taking multiple hits? how do those high lvl spells operate? man, taking 1 direct hit mass blizz is insane. and just a standard esw hurts like hell too. honestly, i dont buy into that whole WARR > MAGE thing. i'm a warr with GBH and while yes, i agree that shd i find a NOOB mage with normal armor, and can successfully bs with 3 crits in, that mage will die; however, should the mage run, and start esw-ing me, i'm just in for a world of pain. crazy spell deals phat dmg and pushes u back a gd distance. kinda sucks. without MA, i cant do shit to them. without PA, i cant do shit to warrs (unless they are really really noob BS armor warrs).

/end rant

p.s. this is really pretty hard, cos tons of ppl are pwnage now. most started early and are farrrr advanced in the game. insane to catch up. EKs? more like EKs for them.

im not sure how to explain to you but u can try to dodge esw / blizz , try to use ur self instinct .. they usually shot a straight line to get max hits so try not to go in their spells

I agree, it's hard to catch up with everyone else if you're just starting. A full hero in a kaxe can still kill my warrior in 3-4 crits. Anyway, try to dodge spells at an angle so the mage can't hit you in a straight line. A direct hit (straight line) will be 3-4 hits, an indirect hit (you closer to the mage and at an angle) will only be 1-2.
