the 'rain' doesnt look that bad. the effect in around the text and the effect in the corner are the only things that ruin it imo.

the second one is better but the effects about your name still dont look good.

Don't like the text effects your putting on. Normal text can look good on sigs, don't always need outer glows etc.

Also, Not to sure about the border, whether it's a bevel emboss or what.

Text sticks out too much and it too big, the signature size is too blocky, the border is bad, the rain effect doesn't look much better...
I suggest keep making what your making, but try discovering new tools and such - tutorials will help you too, but for now, just ask the gfx team for help on tools..
