The latest update didn't affect me much coz i'm playing a zwand mage & deva warrior, and i dont expect much from a free server, i just play it the way it is, but i sure noticed other players' reaction. Most complained about the 5k rep recuding the k weapon dmg too much. GBH really owns kaxe now. This is making many ppl leaving, from 150+ players to only 70+ players yesterday(hard to get ek XD). This is what i suggest :

1. Restore the 10k rep
2. If u cant fix the ress wand, just remove it. I dont think it serve much purpose here since there's ressu magic available
3. Increase hc & tw ball drop rate a little. Sometimes u just cant find ppl to hunt wyv/abby, so they still need hc & tw for pts and it's too low. Perhaps dyes too
4. Abby & wyv's drops are too lousy, i dont even know why i go on hunts. At least restore some weapons/merien shields drops, maybe make the drop rate lower but not 0
5. Get more staffs to make more events. Why is there only 2 gms? Since 1900callgm isnt here anymore, shouldn't he be replaced?
6. A self-reset stats script so that players can reset their stats on the website. Save both players and gm's time

PS : Maybe u guys can post yr suggestions here too instead of just complaining. Tell kinger what u like and perhaps the next update will be a better 1

I completely agree with you on all 6 of those points.. Seriously my time was wasted getting 10k rep and an expensive K wpn, only to have it beat out by even an Oxy Hammer now.

Ok I agree with 1, but instead of maybe increasing drops, add in more unique and different weapons that no one has ever seen, maybe make some new ones that are worth getting so that hunts increase

imo what this server needs now is more unique items that set it apart from the rest of the servers

The server was down yesterday and there was a new client. It takes a bit for players to realize this and today the player amount is back to normal. I'm also a bit responsible for the amount of time the server was down yesterday due to a misunderstanding.

HC's ball drop rate is in no way too low. I get 100+ points an hour easily from hunting HC. This is a lot from such an easy monster. And that is while using /getcrits. HC's are mostly meant as an easy way for beginners to get some ball points to get them started, not a way for people to get rich. However, I agree that TW drop rate is bad (if it has not been fixed since last time I was there) because it's worse than the HC drop rate. I have already told kinger about this some time ago.

This is something I can say for sure that will never happen. The reason that stat resets are not done from the forum anymore is that people could abuse it to get people's EK spells deleted. Imagine people doing stat resets for COTG mages and generally just resetting stats to annoy people.

In a server i was just checking out they had a stat reset manual, and for 10 maj pts u can use the manual, log out and when u log back in ur stats are reset. i dont know the coding for that but it would take away the problem of people resetting others stats.

The problem isnt about 10k REP or 5K rep ... the problem is all have the best weapon on server WITH 10k rep. .. and make a LOT of DAMAGE ... the other issue is ... SO EASY TO GET 10K rep... should be harder.... .....................

I didn't die too many times when rep was 10k, i tot it was fine as long as u have 21+ pa set.

I think he fixed it at the expense of 5k rep, i'm not sure about it though

This system that only some people have access to stat resets just does _not_ work.

The fact is that we took time getting 10k rep should give us the reward of being able to hit someone higher for our effort. Heck mages shields and runs, you have 15 sec before the regen and they barely pot, How can a warrior catch up??

some servers have reset stats scroll , i cant rem which but it seems that it works ( ur not stupid enough to reset ur stats when u have ek spell ) . well , if u have pk spell , ask admin online to do it for you.
one way or another , it does save times for admin ( if kinger knows how to make reset stats scroll or scripts ; takes time i believe.)

well , i kinda wanted to complaint about 5k/10k rep , but come to think of it ...this is a FREE server , kinger is trying to balance all .. but i dont think it could be done since mage would complaint that k wep hits hard and warr would complaint esw , mass blizz hits uber dmg in 1 hit..

so there's no ending .. let kinger and other coder decide what's best for us , if u think u been owned too much by mages / warrior . trying change to other classes and see ..

Players are responsible for their own accounts. I understand that friends resetting stats on shared accounts can be troublesome, but how much different can it be from friends taking your items and putting it onto their accounts? As i've seen somewhere on HBU (cant remember where but it's one of those things that pops up in green text in-game) that players are responsible for their account security. So basically, stat reset can be done through the website with a user login&password or as suggested, a reset stat scroll.

I myself don't know the code but I've experienced an HB private server which offers this kind of service in the past...and there wasn't any complaints because players can just modify their stats to their liking. Of course, there should be a limit to how many times a player can reset their stats per week so as not to abuse the system (eg: 3 times stat change per week).

Apart from this, since HBU is a battle-server, I would recommend in deactivating the change-town option. This is just to avoid confusion between players whether the Elvine/Aresden ally they're with is really an ally and NOT helping the other side.

From what I've seen in-game, Elvine and Aresden characters are hunting a monster together and if someone else comes along and tries to kill the opposing faction, his own ally would give enough damage in order for the opposing faction to easily deliver the finishing blow and get an EK. It may not directly be EK laming but it just puts the game plot a bit off from its intended path.
