Default mshield wand modification - 07-11-2007, 06:51 AM

Mshield wand has a certain % of PA.

At the moment only mages can hold mshield wand.. which i feel is a good move.. or it would be damn hard to ek wars... however the shear fact that their is an abundance of PA armors out there coupled with the ease of obtaining mshield wand should then require the stats required to hold the wand to be increased...

Mages with a medium PA set, with tower and mshield wand often only take -1 dmg. (however it is not denied that they sometimes also receive the odd -300dmg)

Wars with a MA180% set & PFM however receive -40 to -100* dmg per wave (meaning -400* or so per spell if direct).

In other words warriors cannot replicate the effectiveness of defense mages have without great difficulty. For wars to achieve similar results they would have to pump 200int and get AMP.

Hence i suggest that mshield wand should have its STR requirements increased, or AMP have its INT requirements decreased.

I believe increasing the mshield requirements would be a more balanced option rather than having mass warriors with AMP.

Suggested change: Mshield wand requirements - 200str & 300mag
