Default Monster Status - 12-14-2007, 10:44 PM

we all know the common ones

Anti-Physical (hard)
Anti-Physical (soft)
Anti-magic (hard)
Anti-Magic (soft)
explosive
Critical Explosive
Poisoning
Critical Poisoning
Clairvoyant
Destruction of magic Protection

i'm going to suggest a few more types that will mesh and go well with previous ideas.
Remove the "Anti-Physical" and "Anti-Magical" status from mobs, replace with the following

Undead = means the monster is of an Undead Type, useful to necromancers. 50% dmg from Physical attacks and Unholy magic, 150% damage vs Holy Magic
Elemental Attunement Earth = 50% damage from Earth magics and Physical Attacks, 150% damage from Air Magics
Elemental Attunement Air = 150% damage from Earth Magics and Physical attacks, 50% damage from Air Magics
Elemental Attunement Fire = 150% damage from Water Magics, 50% damage from fire magics
Elemental Attunement Water = 150% damage from Fire Magics, 50% damage from Ice magics
Holy = 50% damage from physical and holy magic. 150% damage from Unholy
Vampiric = 10% of the dmg it deals it regains as HP
Armor Eating = deals alot more enduance damage to armor/shields
Lucky = Drops Random item similar to Lucky Prize Ticket( or make it drop lucky prize tickets and make those work)
Honorable Foe = Gives 25 rep- when slain. (so necromancers can get the rep- without crimming)
Dishonorable Foe = Gives 25 rep+ when slain. (so kloness warriors and holy mages can get rep+)

well if u read some of his earlier posts, he wants to make magic elemental based. Thus why i made these suggestions to begin with. rather than make a bunch of stand alone suggestions im making several that will integrate and balance each other. plus they will extend the "playability". i've played too many different servers. and all the time i see people, get all the hero sets, find the best weapons and have awesome sets. and what do they do? they quit because theres nothing to look forward to.

This will be a nice additional to the elemental system.

I like the dishonourable/honourable. Rep will become a big part of the system since Kloness and Necro weapons will be opposites.

plus i feel this would be a unique means of expansion. i dont think i've ever seen different "status" on monsters

also, i know its a "bug" to not display the monster status, but what if u kept it hidden, and make it revealed only by casting scan? thus adding value to the spell, other than just checking HP/MP on a NPC/PC
