DirectX 10 exclusive Windows Vista has received a new update in the form of a hotfix, that is set to improve (or was it fix?) the way the operating system uses the virtual address space in games. The hotfix is even recommended by the NV, the Green Team of Santa Clara, who claim that the fix "resolves abnormal application behavior such as crashes and extremely low frame rates when running some 3D applications at very high graphics settings."
The hotfix is recommended for anyone using GeForce 6, 7, and 8 series cards with Vista and is available in both 32 (
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en ) and 64-bit (

Nvidia also recommends pairing up the hotfix with its ForceWare 163 drivers.
