agree with kuntau , or lower abit of boss hp .. new ppl who just join have a hard time killing them to gain items.

Mages should be able to hunt wyverns too...... is impossible kill a wyv even with 5 mages with mass blizz

If you cant kill wyvern with 5 mages massblizz u must suck very much. I think it can easily be killed by 2 mages, if you are skilled enough. Mass repli + mass blizzing with friend.

no, it's not like that, last time we went to wyvv 2 cotg mages 1 esw and 1 mass blizz and we couldn't lol it's low, wyvv got a lot of regeneration

What do newb mages do with just ESW?

Warriors can 1 vs 1 a Helclaw easily for points.

What do solo mages do? Helclaw are not so easy and it requires a large area to fight in, which means aggroing other monsters and getting very messy.

Ill agree that mages cant take on just about every good monster worth killing. you should probably drop the magic absorption a bit more. I mean all i use my mage for is farming basically -_-, seeing as I cant really EK with it due to FPS issues.

m mage with MB cant solo a HC, Fvvd with energy shock wave can barly solo an HC i mean wars run up and own it get mass pts and are done. mages need a faster way to get pts. hunting Hc in mage groups is stupid too because HC's drop so little points it takes forever to get a decent amount. while 2 wars can go to wyv and get 6-30 pts per wyv while 2 mages get 1-6 pts per HC

and the whole be creative thing it doesnt work if the dmg isnt high enough to actually do anything to the monster.

Personally if I used my mage (which i rarely do) Id use a war to hunt for its BPs cause its just easier that way.

but it should eb more equal and be that a mage or a war can hunt for BP. i mean with a good PA set its not the dmg that hurts is only doing a tad bit of dmg while a war does 1k+ with the right wep. but i guses with different ppl there are different opinions and thats what makes the foums sucha great place. and if a war and a mage were both able to hunt BP then mages would be more useful on hunts. i mean some ppl dont want mages on an abba hunt (which to me seems nessesary for MS and CK) but i guess ppl just want the line to move quicker so that they get more drops. mages dominate the PVP but they lack in the PVM but i guess if you think about it that kind of makes the game more ballanced because of the lack inone area and exelerence in another. i mean the last thing we want is an all war or all mage server :? that would not be fun. so i still think Ma should be lowered even more on monsters but i dont have the power to do that so its all up to kinger to decide, based on the arguments given

yap i do the same as you . i use my mage only when i need to get reset stats scroll ( mage can easily earn majestic points in no time ).

its a regret starting this server as a mage.. they cant solo a HC with esw.. it takes too long. u can create a warrior and just use shop stuff and kill lots of HCs with criticals..
thats not fun... this means server is not balanced towards PvM.

solo'ing a HC for a warrior should be just as easy with a mage.
also, why would MIM need EKs to get em. that doesnt make sense.
MIM is a spell that you can just buy... Warriors already have unlimited criticals, like 2K+ criticals stacked on them... and you can gain critical very easy in this server.. punishing MIM for EKs is lame

MIM has major issues, especially the building/ wall bug ( if u are mim'd and are near or go near a wall u get stuck and other can still attack you. But you cant move)

ye , mage are suppose to be supporting class but oh well..
