Ok, I'm going to attempt to get this one started.. We have all seen the couples at school or around different places saying they love each other right? Well my question is at what point do you think someone can really start to love another person? maybe a week? or maybe 2 years? what are your options?

I really don't know I mean you know i have had girlfriends that say i love you all the time yet i would know they really and truly don't. Its just more of something that you just say in a relationship. I believe you shouldn't tell any one you love them unless you truly do. this is just my thoughts though, Me and my girl friend have known each other for about three months and have been actually dating for one. I truly do love her, I'm not saying that i know the relationship will work out but if it didn't there still wouldn't be a day where she could call me and ask for a favor and i wouldn't do it. I leave work to go see her when she is sick when i can and when i cant see her it just about kills me. I talk to her every night and every morning before school, i even take a "smoke" break at work to call and check up on her sometimes. I cant seem to find any thing wrong with her at all either, most of my other girlfriends would have habits or do something all the time that would annoy me but i haven't found one yet that she does.

You may think it takes longer to fall in love then what it took me so please post your thoughts on it.

i believe it depends on the two people for the amount of time it will take. I don't believe you can fall in love in one day though.

yea i feel the same way, If i started dating and a girl told me within the first week she loved me i knew it wasn't real a lot of people say it just for it to be said. maybe some even believe they do but i really doubt it.

I like the girl im currently talking to, but i really don't know if i would give my life for her. Thats something that would be a quick decision.

I still say you have to gain it over time.

the reason i said "you don't realize what you have, until you lose it." is because if something goes wrong and she leaves you... you'll know if you were in love.\


EDIT: i currently like a girl, but.. she doesn't. well... she said she didn't want to ruin out friendship but before school got out for the summer she wrote in her little "journal" or something and her mom read it and called up my mom and my mom told me.. it said she didn't know how she was going to get through the summer with out me and how she was in love with me.. idkk..

You can't love something you would let die if you had a say in it.

And to your last post Guy Harvey, I know how you feel. Girls are weird like that. I have an ex-girlfriend that I still love dearly. She even told me that she really likes me and she misses me a lot but she won't go out with me again because of a thing she describes as a "girl thing" that I wouldn't understand.

I just found out a few days ago that this girl that I really liked alot and was like best friends with for a year and a few months liked me alot. She said this on the phone, to me, her friend in the room (who was also my friend, a different girl). Me and her did everything together, laughed together, and so on.

She still constantly talks to me even though I am 1,200 miles away from her and she knows I wont be able to see her for about 3-5 years due to public schooling shit. Which sucks. But yeah Ive known what I have even when I had it just didnt think she liked me that much. She told me today that if we would have told eachother we liked eachother earlier we would have been able to have tons more fun then being just best friends i thought to myself "wtf does that mean, we had alot of fun already". But yeah, im pretty sure i got one waiting.

I think about her every night and talk to her every day. She tells me things I dont think she tells anyone else because they dont listen, or care.

No she is not fat and she doesnt do drugs or drink or anything bad. Shes hot as fuck.

We never fought once about anything really, we love the same kinds of music, have same kind of thoughts, we lived right next door to eachother, we sat on the bus together every day, our lockers were next to eachother, i was in every class of hers, we sat pretty close together (weird seating charts made by teachers not set by students), we let eachother copy homework when we couldnt be fucked to do it ourselves.

I am out 400 or so dollars because of tons of text messages between us and i dont even care because the chats were hilarious and i loved each one and hated to delete them when the box became too full.

For a whole year I have had every single student from 2 classes (about 60 people) tell me i should go out with her, but she was always around and we always just denied it, like what the fuck was i supposed to say if she said no, ide be like, sadface and stuff. Finally a time when we could be alone (atleast on the phone ;_; ) and told eachother how we felt. It felt weird but yeah im sorta sadface and happyface now cuz i just went to school to see her and didnt care about work and stuff and i cant look forward to that anymore.

I talked to my girlfriend for 3 months before we started going out. We have been going out for 3 months now. Known each other for 6 months. I drive her to school and take her home everyday. Love is something that you just know you have. There is really no way to explain it until you experience it for yourself.

Idk I've been with my gf now for like 2 months we say I love you and shit when we stop talking on the phone or texting but we already talked about this and we agreed that we have to be togather longer so far it looks like a good road ahead because im polish and I speak polish and shes polish and she speaks polish and her parents like me. So maybe in a couple months I might really LOVE her. But atm yea I really care about her im almost 16 btw and I always defend her from fuckin pricks at the movies to gtfo I just don't let anything happen to her. So depends on how you are.

Another Example: My English Sophomore teacher is 22 and her boyfriend said I love you to her the second week they were going out in Freshman year of Highschool now they are still going out for 8 years and will probaly get married. Already togather 8 years I kno they love eachother.



Although im almost 16 I honestly think I found my life partner :P
