yep... I just got off work and on the way home me and my friend from work where screwing around when o saw a car pull in behind him and follow us.. i thought it was just our manager on her way home too well a few miles back we where speeding a little lol... (i was doing 75 in a 35 zone) and so i see blue lights come on way back behind me (i kinda sped off and left him after we made a turn onto highway 1

so i was thinking crap im getting a ticket... so i pull over and the car isn't a cop car it kinda looked like my friend codys car so i thought he was screwing with me because the cop was all in the road backing up pulling forward etc... i had my door open looking at him trying to figure it out when i heard him say pull in behind the other car and there wasn't one in front of me... i thought for sure it was cody screwing with me until i saw a pare of headlights behind me.... it was codys car..... so the cop gets out and asks cody for his license so i go ahead and get mine and my insurance then hand them to him and he said are you doing any street racing tonight? and i said no sir i just got off work and wanna get home because its so late then he said well i was speed clocking you trying to figure out how fast you where going and it looked like you where going about 55 in a 35 zone so i knew he hadn't clocked me with the speed gun so i was almost sure i wasn't getting a ticket.. he said do you admit that you where going about 55? and i said no... i might have been speeding a little bit but i didn't thing i was going that fast. so he asked a bunch of questions like if we worked together and if we knew each other and all then i asked him how much trouble i was in because i wanted to just go ahead and get it over with... so then he said none that he was just giving me a verbal warning this time and not to let it happen again... i told him thank you and to have a good night i cranked my car up and i put it into neutral and let off the clutch and it poped into 1rst and my tires spun a little bit :S i looked back and the cop was already in his car and i guess he didn't hear or see it because nothing happened...

it scared me because i have street raced for about 2 years and have NEVER been pulled over and i didn't want to get a ticket for screwing around.. if i was gonna get a ticket i wanted it for doing 120 threw town or something...

this was my long story.. leave comments and replys about what you think or what you would have done.. remember this ISNT the flame section....

Getting out of tickets is easy imo.

yeah on my old car me and my friends would rig them up to where i had a switch that would kill every light on my car (tail lights head lights and all the lights in the car like the speedometer etc..) and there was usaly about 15-30 cars at the races.. some ppl watching some racing and when a cop would come we would hit the switch take off and pull in somewhere.. its dangerous but has saved me 4 times so far because they couldn't tell where i was pulling in etc so if i got far enough ahead i was pretty much safe.. and its not easy to get out of tickets.. it really depends on the cop because if your driving with a light out its illegal period whether you are going to get it fixed or not.. and what was i sopose to say? oh yeah i was going 110 mph because my mom called and told me no to be late getting home? lol its a lot easier to not get caught period.. if your speeding and a cop is coming the other way and you cant slow down in time and have to put your breaks on he can automatically give you a ticket.. i have two things i do.. 1 if there is somewhere i can turn in then i put my blinker on and turn in (they cant give you a ticket because you put your breaks on to turn... 2 i turn on my caution lights and pull over to the side of the road and get out looking at my engine acting like something is wrong and 3 my last option i use is jake breaking... i just hope he doesn't hear me.. he had a pretty cool car... i wish it had been day time so i could have seen it better, it wasn't a cop car or a crown vic (what they use for most police cars) it was one of the ones they use for drug deals and busting meth houses and theres only one or two of those in our city that have speed guns in there car.. i'll call you later sean i have to work tomaro :S

thats true... almost all of the girls at school that have been pulled over have gotten out of tickets...
