Seems we can't have the other suggestion I made about the make people register (which 21 has explained) I think that there should be a hide hack for the download URLs etc.

A hide hack is where it hides the content unless you post/thank them - which you need to be registered for.

Agreed, this would help out a lot. I've seen this done many times on different sites, gets more posts. This would mean lowering the character limit though.... I guess.

They could always just click the Thank button.

Or if they want to say more, they could post a sentence or so.

no, i say we have a hide hack for post and thanks.. that way we can post stuff for noobs as long as they thank us and have a post block so only people that dont leech can read/download it
