► Please refrain from bugging any gm/mod that is on there unless they are ok with it. This is not technical service.

►Users may not play audio through their microphone at any time. Generally this is too loud, and very unwanted. Users who play audio through their microphone will be globally muted. Repeat offenders will be kicked, or in extreme circumstances, banned from ingame as well.

►If you and your guild want a channel created, ask in the Global vent channel.

►Yelling or excessive loud noise, especially in the lobby will not be tolerated, and will result in a global mute.

►Excessive disconnecting and reconnecting to the server will result in a ban.

►Phonetics, that is, what the server says when you join the server or a channel, are to be short and to the point. Use of ()*+=?\/ in phonetics is not allowed. Should an admin ask you to change your phonetic, do so promptly, or risk a kick.

►Users should use the test channel or test function in setup to ensure their microphone is at the right volume. Users who are too loud will be asked to leave the channel until their issue is solved.

►Violations on the vent server will be held against you in game as well.

Now lets start setting up this vent. Infront of you, you should have a box like the one below, Dont worry with these simple commands you will be interacting with the Underlord players in no time.

Now click this little icon highlighted and enter your desired name like shown below then click ok. This is illustrated below (Note Click new and then type the name). Also note Pick the name you want players to call you by. Not my example name.

Ok Nearly there folks together we can do this. Directly under the previous icon click it (its highlighted if im going too fast). then fill in the server information as shown below. Again at the top Click New Then instead of your desired name Its the vent name which in this case is Underlord. FILL IN THE SERVER INFORMATION EXACTLY AS I PUT IT THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART after this click ok then on the main screen click connect. Its all illustrated Below.

Congratulations you are now in Kingers vent. Read the rules of the vent befor even considering entering. You will see a list of vent channels. How do i get from one too another i hear you call? Its easy simply double click on the writing of the channel you would like togo in and if it doesnt have a password you will enter. (Note some channels have passwords and you can only obtain this password from the admin of that channel. But hear is the Result of my simple steps So far.

Ok you seem tobe having hotkey difficulty. Dont worry we can do this together! Ok lets get your problem fixed. Inorder to use you mic, The best way is to use Push to talk hotkey.Click setup which is underlined in the screen shot undernieth this paragraph. Fill the box on the top left where it says Use push to talk hotkey. Now we need to set the hotkey Look directly down and you will see a box Saying mouse1 THIS IS YOUR LEFT HAND MOUSE CLICK. Click in that box with your desired Hotkey. I use mouse4 which is the little scroll up or down ball situated in the centre of your mouse. If all is in working order your Setup should look like this.

Now what you ask? i still cant talk why? you ask. You now need to identify your mic Everymic has a different name so you may need to experiment with the settings to find the correct Mic. Todo so look at my screen shot and click the little drop bar icon shown and select your mic name. Same with Output, Direct sound will in most cases be the Headset. (note this is advised as you wouldnt want your parents knowing how sad you are. Saying your talking to a friend allways works). Congratulations you are almost ready togo. This screen shot below relates to this paragraph.

Dam=[ You can talk and hear people but not very loudly. How do i adjust this without changing my direct sound options? You ask. Once again homie you need to click your Setup icon on the main vent channel selection screen. On the bottom right there is input and output. Input is your mic volume adjust it if your too loud. Output is your speaker volume, adjust this if the persons voice is too ugly. (Note your first words should be said in a normal tone, its wise to ask the other vent users if they can hear you ok, you wouldnt want to piss people off this early). The input and output options are shown below there highlighted just incase your totally retarded. Simply drag the bar up or down. Up is to increase down is to decrease... DUH.

Ok You have done but you may notice i have not completed the fields myself so hears what my setup looks like to specification. Here we go.


Why vents are extremely usefull. Vent allows players to communicate during PVP this is a great advantage as relation ships form and Team work is encourage, If vent is used properly many friends are gained and Helbreath becomes more than a game which in most cases is great. Vent invites guilds to come and new players to join, this increases the servers popularity and so on.. Remeber to read the rules and there wont be a problem.
