As a lot of you may already know, Range is the new wave of ownage.
With the Dark Bow's release, and C'Bows hitting higher, the possibilities are endless.
SO, heres a guide to being a range pure, and pking as one.

Starting Out
At level 3, You really dont have many options. My #1 suggestion is to become a member immediately, and do the cannon quest. It will take about 1k-1.5k Cannon Balls for 1-40 range, but you will keep 10 hp.
The other option is to buy a lot of iron knives, and just throw them around until you have 40-50 range.

So You Have 40/50 Range?
Once you reach 40/50 Range, theres one thing you MUST do.
Complete the quest Animal Magnetism
The device she gives you picks up your arrows for you, and puts it in your quiver. you lose A LOT LESS arrows this way, otherwise ranging gets REALLY expensive.

PKing With 40 Range
With 40 Range, I suggest you Pk with either Rune throwing knives, or Bronze/iron knives + C'Bow & best bolts you can use for k0.

PKing With 50 Range
With 50 range, you have a spec available now. And you can use rune arrows.
DO NOT PK if you did not complete Animal Magnetism.
The way to do it is to bring all noob clothes and brz/iron knives + 30-40 rune arrows + Magic short bow, and of course the device you got from Animal Magnetism.
Attack people with knives, and then switch to your bow to k0 them with the spec.

Getting 55 Range
Get 55 Range with iron knives. on rock crabs.

Getting 60 Range
Buy 1k-1.5k Red Chinchompas, And train with them at Pest Control.
Chinchompas hit monsters that are close to each other, so you get a bunch of XP.
+ the PC points also help.

PKing With 60 Range - Dark Bow
--DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 26 PRAYER--
You need 25 prayer to protect your Dark Bow, and 26 to hit higher.
You will do "Almost" the same thing as before. Get the worst type of knives you have, and when the person is at about half hp, click on ur d bow, then mass click on the person. If the person isnt dead, spec. That is pretty much a K0, unless they safe like hell.
What To Bring:
Iron Knives
Dark Bow
Ava's Device
10-15 Dragon Arrows
2 Prayer Pots
1 Range Pot
3 Rings of Recoil, Wear one.
Sharks, nothing less.

With this, you are a flawless Pker.
You will never die, and always k0 everyone.
At 60 range, i believe the max hit is 24 or 25 with A Dark Bow Spec, D Arrows. And 18 with Rune; MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DRAGON ARROWS.
The people around your level will have about 45-50 HP, so you can 1 hit them if your lucky, but just try it at half HP instead.

Getting 70 Range
Chinchompas, Chinchompas, and more Chinchompas.

At 70 Range
By this time, you will have incredible hits with your Dark Bow, and people will run on sight. So you need to stop them.

Getting 55 Mage
Just Teleport a crap load of times.

Getting 70 Mage
8,785 High Alchs = 70 Mage, get on it.

PKing With 70+ Range
GRATS! you never have to use those pesky old knives again. From this point on, you Ice Burst, and then D bow spec. Really often, its a 1 hit k0.
What to Bring
Dark Bow
Full Ghostly, except Ava's Device instead of the cape
Black D Hide Vambs instead of ghostly Gloves
Glory As the Ammy; best mage/range bonus. Ull hit higher more often.
Dragon Arrows
30-40 Ice Burst Runes.
2 Varrok Tele Tabs.
Sharks.
2-3 Prayer Pots
1 Range Pot

Getting 80+ Range
Chinchompas

Pking with 80+ Range
--Get 82 Mage--
Around now, EVERYONE will have protection prayers, and they will protect their items. Its just a waste of your dragon arrows.
You have two choices, 1. Get 52 Pray. 2. Stay Low Pray, but dont get most of your kills

At 90 Range
Get 94 Mage, and now you are unstoppable. Hit a 30 with Ice Barrage, and two 40s(Or Higher?), with D Bow. You have a perfect pure
