Refusing a homosexual rights is not going to force a sexuality change and thus produce children. Whether or not a homosexual has rights, he probably will not reproduce.

Even if everyone did turn homosexual (despite an astronomically tiny chance) there would - and are - various methods of reproducing regardless.

Let's think in both religous and realist terms here.
Religious - God basically said two members of the same sex should not be joined in any relationship other than friends... Basically saying no to homosexuals altogether

Well I'm going to start a debate.
Why did god make humans?
Because he wanted our population to grow. Well if people on Earth are gay then that would lead to humans not having babies. Human race will be extinct! Plus if your gay then pretty much god hates you because he put women + man = baby so we can survive! Man + man = but rash. Now somebody please disagree with me so I can start whooping ass.

I would feel so uncomfortable seeing 2 men kissing and doing other sexual things... i don't mind girls but thats not right.. Some girls call other girls pretty but they are straight. Some guys who aren't gay think that some men are handsome. If people get used to seeing this, they would prbably become homo themselves, which would mess up the world. I vote no.

I don't think this topic is very useful for debating. I don't particularly care about the practices of gays and how they decide to carry out their lives. I'm a christian and this is differed by religion, but I don't see why I should shun or ridicule them. God has given us free will and some choose to follow a different path. Homosexuals, in my opinion, should be able to get married due to the sheer fact that it doesn't affect the general public and still allows for society to function properly. We honestly have more serious topics which should be discussed, rather than gay marriage. If we put half the time considered we do into the moralities behind gay marriage, we could be on our way to solutions for various economic/environmental/social problems.

Well, see, this can go both ways.

I voted yes.

I am not a big fan of homosexuals. To be quite honest, when I see them in real life, they will probably receive a few negative comments from me.

However, people are entitled to their freedom.

But... homosexual partners should not express their affection for one another in public. (kissing, making out, etc.) This is gross and no one really wants to see that, to be honest.

Also, if you're queer, I don't believe you should be the whole "omg lets go shopping" type. Just be normal.

It's a good thing if the population decreases... We have 6 billion something people this world and it is rapidly increasing. Some day, that is going to be a problem.

Also, we have a "regularity" or men marrying women, correct? Some day, there was some one who decided to be different and fall in love with a man.

Who is to say this won't happen in the future?

I highly doubt gays will take over, but if they do, won't men who love women come back and take over, just like the gays did? It could be a flip flop thing. (I am doubting that)
