Default Fletching Guide - 12-11-2007, 01:06 PM

Level 1-10

Ok, so now I recommend you go to Edgeville, and if you look on the map of the city you should see that behind the bank there are quite a lot of normal trees. Get out your hatchet and your knife and start cutting the trees until all of them are gone then fletch all the logs into Arrow Shafts. Since they are stackable you won't have to worry about banking them. You will need to make 3947 of them. That may seem like a lot, but you get 15 Arrow Shafts per log so it goes by pretty fast.

Level 10-25

From here I would stick with normal Longbows until Oak Longbows as they give about the same experience as an Oak shortbow, but are faster to cut and can be found closer to a bank if you're cutting. As with before do not string them but leave them unstrung. You will need to make 699 Normal Longbows before reaching 25 fletching.

Level 25-40

Stick with making Oak Longbows (u) until 40 fletching as they seem to be the best unless you're going to buy your logs. I recommend cutting oaks at the 2 trees east of Draynor bank as you can bank them. You will need to make 1176 before you reach 40 fletching.

Level 40-55

From here on, I would go to Draynor village as that is the best place for people your level and up. If you're cutting your own logs. Now make 3082 Willow Longbows (u) for 55 fletching.

Level 55-70

Here is where it starts getting boring. From here on out you are going to be stringing all of your bows as they give much better exp that way. Now you will need to make 4881 Maple Longbows (s) until level 70.If your goal is 99 fletching dont complain about fletching and strining 4.8k maple longs you will be fletching lots more if your aiming for 99 tongue.gif

Level 70-90

Here comes a huge experience jump. You will be hopping from 737627 xp to 5346332 xp it seems alot but from level 70 fletching it goes verry fast .Now you will be fletching Yew longbows , you will need to fletch 30725

Level 90-99

If you want the fletching skillcape read this as wel but if you want to make money skip this.Okay now you will be fletching 51254 yew longs its the last stretch to earning the skillcape i recommend stil doing yew longbows because of their popularity on the runescape forums ,....

Level 99

Congratulations! You are now among the best fletchers in RuneScape! WTF are you waiting for GET THAT CAPE biggrin.gif

1.2:Profit

Okay while i was fletching i discovered some ways to make profit off fletching , here are some:

-1:yew longbows:

Wel if you buy yew logs 360 each abd bowstring 190ea you come at a total of 550 gp ea bow then if you sell your bows 630 ea you will have 80 gp profit each bow now heres the profit for 10k bows

190+360=550
630-550=80
80*10000= 800.000

800k profit each 10k yew longbows

2-ragon arrows:

this is why i said earlier in the guide to stop at 90 fletching if you want to make money and i found this out at the moment i reached 90 fletching heres how it works
go to world 2 fally center and you will find alot of people selling d arrow tips for normally 5k each well buy 1k for 5m fletch into arrows and sell the arrows 9kea

formula:

d arrow tips 5kea:5000*1000=5.000.000
you spend 5m then fletch the arrows and:9000*1000=9.000.000

4 mil profit and if you know people with 83+ hunter then your in luck smile.gif
note: i once made 16 mil proft in 30 minutes with this because their were alot of sellers biggrin.gif

1.3:Fletching tips
