I have wow and WoWBC but I no longer want to pay for it. How do I play on a private server? Ive only played HB private servers.

check this out , just go to www.wikipedia.com and type for world of warcraft and you will se some links of private servers and all its instructions to install it , but its kinda hard because you will have to dowload several programs and different stuff , but good luck with it

LEGAL DISCLAIMER: It is ILLEGAL to PLAY on a private World of Warcraft servers. Every time you run an update you adhear to a new EUA stating you will not use their software to play on non blizard servers. So doing the following is therefor illegal, do it at your own risk of prossecution, not that that will ever happen.

Hosting the server however, is currently perfectly legal, so suck my nuts Blizard :P

Download/Install WoW

Run the blizzard patches up to 3.3.0 (dont go any higher)

Make backup copy of realmlist.wtf

Edit the ORIGINAL realmlist.wtf

Delete the second line (says somthing like "UPDATE SERVER bliz.blabla.com"

Change the server name on the first line to the IP of the server you want to play.

Save, create acct on the server from their site, Run wow and BOOYAH no more Blizard scaming your cash.
