Default Cooking Guide - 06-06-2007, 04:45 PM

Levels 1-15

At this point, you're new to cooking and you may burn a lot of foods. The best thing to do is not make those complicated cakes and pies but instead, stick with seafood and animal meat since you just use it on a stove or fire instead of going through the hassle of finding ingredients for the cakes.

From getting to level 1-15 is easy. All you have to cook is 81 meat or chicken. In Lumbridge if you go to the Chicken Pen or the Cow pen you will find a lot of raw meat on the ground that you can pick up and cook.

If you want to get your fishing up in the process, find a Net (can be bought from the Port Sarim Fishing Shop) and head to Draynor Village. Go Net Fishing and catch 81 shrimp and cook them. If you have 5 fishing or higher Bait Fish 61 Sardines and cook them and you will receive 15 cooking. You can now cook Trout.

Levels 15-30

Now that you can cook Trout, things will go easier. Fish 157 Trout at Barbarian Village and cook them and you will get 30 cooking in no time. If you can't fish Trout, go to world 1 or 2 because a lot of fishers drop there fish. You can now cook Tuna.

Levels 30-40

Not a lot of people cook Tuna, but cooking Tuna will get you to level 40 Cooking. You can stay at Barbarian Village and fish, or pick up the fish on the ground and cooking them. You will need to cook 299 Pike or 266 Salmon. Instead, you could go to Karamja Docks and fish and cook Tuna. You will have to fish and cook 239 tuna. You can now cook Lobsters.

Levels 40-80

This is the one of the hardest levels to get, 40 levels until you can cook Sharks. What most people do is once they can cook Lobsters, they cook about 5,000 and then swap cooked Lobsters for raw Lobsters so they won't have to fish or buy any. Now you may be wondering exactly how many lobsters you have to cook to get to 80 cooking. The answer is 16,241 lobsters. It may take a while but it will be worth it. Once you get 80 you can cook Sharks.

Levels 80-99

Here comes the final stretch to 99 Cooking, only 19 more levels! Now you want to know what massive amount of lobsters or sharks or will need for 99. For 99 you will need to cook 92,070 Lobsters or 52,612 Sharks. You may think that will take forever, but it won't. You can always trade cooked Sharks for raw Sharks just like the Lobsters and you will be at 99 in no time.
