Cant connect to IM can anyone help me out... -

It says "Failed to connect to the service. This could be due to improper proxy or firewall settigns. Please review your proxy and firewall settings. Proxy settings can be accessed through windows live messenger options."
When I checked my connection in Windows Live Messenger Options it says "Your are currently not connected to .NET Messenger Service." Below that it says "You are conencted to the internet through wired network connection." Also when i try to connect using Internet Explorer it says "Page Cannot Be Displayed" All this started when i downloaded a AVG Anti Virus program. Anyone know what the problem is?? |

I just reinstaled windows maybe the trojan i had in my comp had something to do with it

nah.. trojan wont block msn.. pointless lol... but they might use msn to spread themself..
