well, ive heard alot of stuff about the world ending in the year 2012.

ill state some basic stuff.

well, all that stuff seems pretty belivable to me.

unless its just one of those "2000" things, where everyone thought wed die at the millenium.

i personally think its real, gives me some sort of fate to look to.

well whether or not these things happen in 2012 or not it is just naive to think that they arent inevitable. all good things must come to an end. (although i would argue the world today isnt all that good...)

I did not agree with this prediction. I know this date comes from the Mayan calendar, which many believe says that the end of time is 2012. This is an incorrect interpretation of the Mayan perception of time. It is the end of an age in 2012. The Mayans had a 52 year cycle, much like we have a 100 year cycle. The date of 2012 is the end of one age, and the beginning of another.
