Ok, so, I can honestly say, I do NOT chug pots in a 1vs1. Never.
It's lame, it proves that you obviously can't do anything without pots.
I was just curious how other ppl felt, cause it seems that a bunch of ppl do

for example, last night, thoners says 1v1. so i go to 1v1 him
he kills me
in global i ask him, how many pots did you chug?
he says, "plenty to own you"
does that make sense to anyone else? he had to chug pots to kill me?
I also, had 0 pots on me, therefore I could not chug
I also crit thoners for ~600dmg atleast 4x not to mention countless 100-250 crits

I just felt like I'd bring up a valid subject for a PVP server like this...
any comments ?

i dont chug in 1 v 1 too , but other party may not know what ur doing . so i suggesting that if anyone wanna 1v1 , just use exchange ; so both party cant chug

If it's a duel 1v1, set the rules 1st b4 dueling. Eg : pots, crits, weapons & armour. If u dont set any rules, i say it's fine to chug pots

When i one on one i pot exchange always to avoid chugging from both parties

I'm at the same opinion. If there is no rules set, you can do whatever you like to.

I bet most of the people who say they don't chug 1vs1 do so. Anyways, of course I'd chug 1vs1. Many 1vs1's (at least mage vs mage) are based on who gets the first hit and if you are ½ cast behind, then you gotta chug your way to get back on top. You have to chug pretty often when you get hit 1000++ with a PA140 set on unless you want to die in 2 crits. In mage duels you get hit for 1000-1500 so that's 2 ESW's.

I don't find anything lame about chugging 1vs1 either. People can be good and bad at chugging too.

I dont chug 1 vs 1, never, i just dont have time u kno?
i mean i constantly click and press alt and ctrl, if ur presing ALT cliking on insert wont work, and i wont waste a bit of time i could be criting for chuging, i usually exchange
Only time i chug, is when im hunting or something, and a invi warr/mage stab me in the back
so i run chug , when im full hp i go and fight a fair one, and i dont chug there

Good is a wide concept.
Good is never based on your skill, good is more likely, in my opinion, your relationships with a certain environment. I believe that luck has 10-50% to do with the "How good you are" concept. You can always base on the luck but you see, never rely on it, there's too many possible ways to go to the bottom. We are all talking about willing to be good in something, f.e Best warrior / best mage? Uhm, don't you believe that you're too young for being good in something? I'm hoping, seriously hoping to reach the level 'good' in something, like after I've done the certain thing more than 10-15 years, according to the environment. HB's community ain't a big thing, you can get into good relationships with a very short time. I mean for christ's sake, I'm chugging pots the way I want to, if anyone can judge me somehow, give a straight go, I always fight back. People are so simple-minded these days.
